Ceramic Inert Ball for oil refining and petrochemical industries
Ceramic Ball
It is generally used for catalyst bed support for oil refining, petrochemical and natural gas applications. For use in fixed bed reactors as inert catalyst bed support. The product is often used in fixed bed reactors where a temperature range of 100°C to 500°C.  Tipton's inert ceramic ball is also common in most of desulphurization systems used by oil refineries. It is a standard item for the desulphurization process.
High Alumina Ball
It is used for catalyst bed support for oil refining, petrochemical and natural gas applications. The working temperature range is mostly 100°C to 1,200°C. As the product contains 99.3% alumina at minimum and 99.7% in general, it is frequently used as a catalyst bed support for chemical reaction towers in which foreign matters should be kept at minimum. Due to the nature of high alumina, this product is positioned at the highest place in our range of similar products. It is used mainly at the downstream of naphtha production, and is quite effective when it is used in strong acid/alkali environment and when inclusion of foreign matters should be kept at minimum. The product is in high demand for use in liquefied natural gas plants.

Heat Exchange Media: High Alumina Ball
The heat exchange media, High Alumina Ball is used under the severe environment of an industrial furnace. Tipton's High Alumina Ball can withstand repeated spalling phenomenon and is used by many customers. It consists of high quality alumina (purity: AL2O3: 99.3% guaranteed, 99.7% as representing value) and is also used as a filler of oil refining and petrochemical industries in and out of Japan.
Heat Exchange Media ‘High Alumina Ball’ Cleaning System
Being exposed to a severe industrial environment (rapid quenching and heating), High Alumina Ball's surface is gradually stained by dust in the furnace causing decreased heat exchanging performance. In order to reverse the situation, Tipton's cleaning and polishing agents are used to enhance fuel efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions.
